Custom Cornice
Cornices are classic wood or foam board top treatments. They can be painted, stained, upholstered, or wrapped with your favorite fabric or wallpaper. Cornices not only present a clean, classic look to your home, but can also hide room imperfections or unsightly rods. SOFT FABRIC VALANCES AND SWAGS
Valances are beautiful, soft fabric top treatments. At DUC Interiors, we can create the perfect pleated valance for a simple yet beautiful way to finish off a plain window. Swags are also very popular – they are artfully draped fabric, ranging from simple to ornate. Swags are generally used in more formal spaces, often with drapes underneath. They can be mounted on a board or pole and more than one swag can be used for larger windows. Tie top or tab top valances are a more casual option and can also be mounted on a board or a decorative pole.
